This has nothing to do with the original post other than to note that it has a post date of 6/30/06.
Now, after once answering an old, old, old post as though it were brand new and needing my enlightened input, and being advised that it would be a good idea to check posting dates... I look at the original date, and subsequent response dates before responding.
Is it me or does the following sequence look strange?
Original: 6/30/06
Responses: 7/13/05; 5/3/03; 12/2/05; 6/30/06
and mine, which should be dated 9/27/06

This is my first time owning my own and I didn't want to over work her and end up with a dog that has hip issues.
She has been getting atleast 45 minutes worth of walks, but I know it is not making her tired.
As for obedience, she is awesome. Come, sit, down, out are all very good (unless she is running laps in the house). When I take her on walks I have her sit and down on occasion to keep her thinking.
Can someone suggest some games I can play with my dog to give her brain some exercise as well.
OK... I know I am under no obligation to use the keyboard to demonstrate just how much of a maladroit I am but I just can't resist the temptation to demonstrate my inate dumbness.
Thank you for the set of brains.

I like Steven's idea:
A place command, with various feats done while at the place (sit, down, stand, wave, spin around...whatever you want)...... Between going back to "place" and running back to your for treats, the pup will basically be running laps...... Particularly if you have to abbreviate your sesssion together, merging exercise, mental stimulation and distributing a meal comes in handy. END
Also, I love "Find It" as good game for all ages. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
