*starts saving up for one from the next litter... (My wife's gonna be ticked off!) <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Wonderful looking dogs!
*tries to figure out how to con wife into allowing 3 GSD's into the house...
Isn't it amazing to watch their individual personalities come out? Even though they have the same parents it's truly amazing how different they can be.
you are right about cute and so smart looking...
what do the different collars mean? <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Im sorry, Who is the Brood (is that what she called? mother?) of the puppies?
Maybe I just missed it but please let me know. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Thanks. Btw beautiful dogs! I cant wait till I can afford one! <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Ooh, I think I found it on the pedigree chart. Sage for 1000 alex <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
we weigh them every day, so each one is handled individually (and cuddled <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> )
We trim nails twice a week
I take them, as a group, around the yard. Funny how some are always underfoot, and some sit back and watch, while others take off in their own direction. It is how I start to see who's independant, who's confident to go it alone, and who is a cling-on. Of course, they are only 5 weeks, so it's certainly not a definite indicator of their temperament and personality but it's a piece of the puzzle to be used later.
other than that we do lots of observation and smile, cause they really are fun!
I hope to add some video to the page tomorrow or Sunday along with updated pictures.
Cindy, do you keep detailed notes on those behaviors as the pups progress? It would be fascinating to look back on a litter after they're grown to see how their personality changed or how they adjusted over time with good/bad training.
