. this pup was to be a trade for a pup out of my stud dog when i bred him. and you are right, none of this makes sence.
June,What do you mean by this ?
You bred him to who? and what trade , for who to who?
I am still very confused about this deal.First it came from Germany than all info come back w/slovakian results, than now it was a trade for a breeding you did...
Have you ever heard of the phrase " if it doesn't make sence it can't be true??
I am not saying that you are lying but something is missing here.

Angelique, Just to clear this part up anyway...It's not for sure that her dog is from Slovakia. I just did a search on the name that she provided and first and most frequent result was about a vet in Slovakia. Could have nothing to do with her dog, but I thought that it was a good starting point for her since it was a vet with the same name. But who knows how common a name like Jarmila Kollová is anyway?
June, hope you'll keep us updated on this bizarre situation!

Okay let me try this again. I was thinking said pup came from Germany until i reread the passport and seen it was Slovakia. what i meant about this pup was a trade for a breeding out of my stud is this. said pup is a show line pup. i own a nice working/DDR male that is turning a lot of heads on the sch. field. said friend gave me the dog with a agreement that if and when i breed my male he wanted a pup out of his lines.i am working on making copies out of this passport to view in case i'm missing something i'm not typing out. the vets name came off the shot record book. does this help any?

I'm a novice at all this, but my novice suggestion is to get your deals in writing. ESPECIALLY when it involves deals between countries. I can't tell you the number of people I've met in 2.5 short years who feel they have been "screwed" in co-owner deals, import deals, trading dog deals, litter deals, etc. etc. etc. And the deals I have in mind don't necessarily involve foreign countries and subsequently more complicated legal issues!!
I hope you get this deal resolved, and I hope you get your deals in writing going forward....

Angelique, Said pup is all show lines or so i'm told and i have a friend that wanted a show dog. this is why i took the pup. my dogs are all working service SAR dogs. i was trying to do two friends a favor by taking a pup a man didnt want to mess with and puting him in the hand of a friend that loves him very much and would love to have papers as promised. yes i do have pictures of my boys but i dont know how to add them on here. i would love to share them if i find out how.
