You can't make them have it, nor can you wish hard enough to give it to them. When they have it, they have it and you won't miss it. We just don't select dogs that we "think" we can train. It has to be clear cut. When you find that dog, that in spite of the distraction in a kennel, regardless of other dogs, no matter how bad he wants out of that situation, that focuses on a ball etc, when it's presented, that's your dog. Of course then you may find he has no hips or is eaten up with heart worm. ha ha. That too has happened. Like I said earlier, Our selection rate is at best, 1 in 50.
