Thanks again for all of the suggesitions. The game plan at this time is to be SURE I close the curtains before I leave. I do want him to have the run of the house. Hopefully with his e-collar on I'll be able to 'catch' the next encounter and give him a correction at the right time. I'll just be patient and not replace the sills until I'm sure he'll not damage them again.
I came home one day and saw my wood window sills chewed on and the blinds damaged, I was about to blame the dog when upon closer inspection I saw that distinctive wide "U" pattern of my three year old son's teeth.
