Actually, the dog's head was part and parcel to death threats to this woman, so they may actually serve time. The other thing is that I'm noticing that they're doing mid-day updates on this story which they only do with things that have huge public intrest/pressure.
And, I'm not comparing it to child molestation, but from my understanding, perps who attack those with no defenses (ie. child molestors and animal killers) do wind up with more, um, animosity from other inmates than your average criminal.
Cape Cod is billed as this high-rent seaside vacation spot, and it is...but there is this seedy section that never gets any attention and this is the crap that floats around there that nobody hears about when they're paying $2000 a week in the summer!

Animal cruelty doesn't really seem to get much attention from innmates from what I have heard, unfortunately. I have had friends and realatives that worked for correction services. The worst are crimes against children or the murder of one's own mother, as I have been told. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that from the nature of the crime and public demand manage to put these cows behind bars, and hopefully they wind up with some nasty cell mate that just happens to be an animal rights activist that hates people. The problem with "inner facility justice" though is that the scum that seem to deserve it tend be put in protective custody.
Now they're in for even more things. So far they haven't even been charged in the dog beheading.
They shipped a sick dog that had skin falling off in chunks??? What the hell is that? How did these sub-people make it this far? She's driving a Jag?!?! On the profits of scamming people with these ill dogs or no dog at all?!?!
