Thanks for the quick responses. It has been awhile since that happened now and we're back to training again, but this is how it turned out. I took my female to the ER and they induced vomiting, gave her a dose of charcoal, and two medications to prevent her from developing an ulcer. She urinated and slept a lot for the next few days and was fine after that. Lesson learned for me is: don't be careless before leaving the house.
FYI for anybody that might ever experiences this... about 9000 mg of Advil (ibuprofen) will kill a GSD according to the DVM who looked at our dog. Anything above 4000 mg is likely to cause an ulcer.
