Red you make a good point, I cured the syptome, he only tried this around feeding time,it is an area of contention at the moment, he has been pushing his luck for a while now, my alpha bitch is getting very old, maybe he senses this, not sure what you would think would have been a better option, he has been on the prong on occassion and many other little issues have been sorted out it is just, I did not want to correct him around food could lead to food issues, I was thinking about letting my son do some obedience with him, but he is just physically not strong enough to hold him, he doesn't try this tho, when I do the feeding, I think he saw the gap and tried to take advantage, my son puts him in and out his crate other times and he does this without any problems,I think food is such a high value commodity for him, he cannot help himself, also he is that type of temperament he has always been pushy and I don't think thats going to change much I have been spending a lot more time concentrating on doing more obedience with him. I can see he is wanting to improve his postion in the hierarchy at home. He is just that type of dog that is going need a constant reminder of his position in life.He is without a doubt a very very dominant character. The peeing is also a new thing started about
2 mnths ago,I'll just have to monitor it and see if it is a passing faze, he is currently very hormonal as stated in previous mail.
