ok...here is a short video clip...(from about 6 weeks ago...he was roughly right at 5 months old...)
it shows three things...
1: charlie will always give a high "5"....
2: he does not like whistling or the camera
3: wont do too many commands unless food or a ball is in the picture...
please excure Charlie's "thingy"...it just hangs out a lot...
Hey, how did the introduction to the big cat go for you? What's the cat like, initially, how was Charlie with the cat and how did you go about your introduction?

well...since my gsd is not a high drive german import, and my cat is a laid back chiller....i tried a "soft" introduction...
i let the dog in, he went after the cat. the cat flopped over onto his back and played with him...
he more or less could actually care less about teh dog's presence. he is not bothered. but he is absolutely a very laid back cat...non agressive and or territorial, which at this point i am very thankful for.
the transition was easy....charlie still gets "that look" sometimes and loves to step on the cat and chase him around, but it seems like a more playful time. at times the both get a little rough...i am more worried about the cat tearing his face up with his claes than anything....so i keep a watchful eye to make sure they don't tussle too much....
I had a cat that weighed 23 lbs. I toilet trained him as a kitten. At that weight he wasn't fat either. He was like a pituitary giant. I always got a chuckle when he pushed the dog out of his bed or tried to nurse on him. I think a gator got him. I know it wasn't the dog as he was still fit and trim after the cat went missing.
