The worth of a picture: her right hand, as it holds the e-collar, has to be one of the most scarred ones I've seen. From that partial view of her thumb, index finger and wrist, I count no less than six bites, three of them serious. One dreads to think what a full survey of both hands will reveal.
After looking at that pic, I don't think that is her hand, but whoever's hand it is, does have a lot of scars. In a way it's bad this happened because now more people will be skeptical of e-collars and there is a chance I will be confronted if I'm ever doing any kind of recall work w/the e-collar. It's also good to be public though, because anyone who uses e-collars or is going to buy an e-collar can know the dangers and responsiblities of using an e-collar.
Makes me sick. Anyone know of a link where this story can be followed so we can find out how it all turns out in the end?
Makes me sick too, if it is proven... Just an article in a newspaper with unproven accusations doesn't make her guilty by any stretch. I really hope she is innocent, as I can't imagine someone doing that to an animal even more so to an animal that was given to her in trust.
It still makes you think about what is out there. Bad trainers, bad advice, recalled dog food it never ends..
