I feed a raw diet. I feed my dogs 2X a day. Pups under 6 or 7 months I feed 3x a day. I never work my dogs for at least 2 hours after meals & don't feed for at least an hour or so after exercise...2 hours or more after heavy exercise.
Pretty much Ditto for me....

I feed RAW twice a day as well. Once in the AM after our morning walk then again around 8 PM, after all the day's activities are well over with. On the weekends, when we do runs or extra long walks/hikes in the morning, sometime's Oscar doesn't get breakfast until noon, after he's settled for a while back in the house. I like feeding twice a day because A. the bloat concern is very real and one huge meal seems like trouble to me and B. Oscar is such a chow hound, I like to give him the opportunity to stuff his face 2 times a day instread of just once. He seems to like this method

Not to hijack but do you fast puppies?
I would never fast young puppies. In fact, when they're really young, I also feed them three times a day. Young pups aren't able to maintain their blood sugar levels as well as older dogs and you run the risk of having a hypoglycemic dog.
