That seems like a lot for a 9.5 week old pup. It's just what I've read & heard, but I don't think they should be walking that much at that age. Maybe someone can help with this?
I actually did walk him for an hour. He didn't seem to mind at all.
Walking a 9 1/2 week old pup for an hour is too much. He may not have seemed to mind it, but I'll bet he didn't enjoy it all that much after the first 10 or 15 minutes. He was probably just doing what dogs do - follow. That experience could be the reason he doesn't want to go out now. He may be anticipating something too arduous for his age, for him to handle comfortably and still maintain curiosity and fun.
Go way back - I would now keep the walks at 2-3 minutes, just out the front door, down the sidewalk for a minute, then back, treating and praising all the way. Take a little toy for him to play with, sometimes not even walking anywhere, just out the front door and play.
Later, when he's able physically, you can extend the walks a bit at a time. You just tried to do too much. I think he's telling you that by his reaction to going outside now.
