This is the way I am training my new puppy Dante, and it's a great system.
Rogue looks great as little youngster and REALLY great as an adolescent. (I saw him last weekend at Midwest Ringsport's Michael Ellis seminar) I think he's around 9 months old now.
Personally, I think Lisa just posted that video to complete my brainwashing into Mondio.
Hey,
Nice pup! Looks like you both are having lots of fun. Where did you find that puppy leg sleeve? He looks like he's having such a good time. I really like that because it's so crucial to what your going to see in the dog when they're adults. Keep up the good work. Thanks for a look see at your pup.
Jason,
How are you? I was reading your post and you mentioned using Ivans basic training method. How long have you been using it and how has it worked for you? I am trying to retrain my dogs using it. I will be getting a puppy at the end of the month and want to start in with it after a bonding period. Also how far have you gotten with it and where did you begin to deviate into other methods?
Lisa, great video of you and your pup. I also clicked on his name on the main site you posted and love that first picture of him. He looks awesome.
Cindy, any videos of you and Dante? Would love to see some. Also, for either you or Lisa, regarding the training system you mentioned, can you go into a little more detail (how it differs from your DVD (on marker training) and clicker training, for example)?
