Michael,
My friend just used the bone dust as a supplement to her regular feedings and she didn't use it daily.
Karl,
I would highly recommend you read a couple of books about feeding raw diets. Ed sells several excellent reads. Feeding only meat and no bone is worse than feeding a crummy kibble.
Cindy,
I feed my dogs a diet of the saw dust, chicken backs and necks, eggs, some type of vegetable, garlic clove, alfalfa powder, kelp powder, vitamins B,C&E,salmon oil, cod liver oil and flax seed oil. on occassion i'll give them some fish and bones. Can you make anyother suggestions?
Cindy, out of all the books that Ed sells on natural diet which one has the most simple, yet healthy, diet to feed? Including amounts for males and females during all stages of their lives?
Your diet sounds pretty good, I try to use as many different types of meat as possible to cover all the nutritional bases. I use chicken backs, chicken leg quarters, chicken gizzards and hearts, beef heart, ground beef, ground turkey, canned mackerel and liver (different types) at least twice a week.
VC,
IMO, the best book Ed sells is Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats, here is the link. http://leerburg.com/935.htm (at the time I posted this the link wasn't working but it's under the book section on his website)
