My male does not have a fondness for puppies at all, but a close friend got a Weim puppy last winter and to my surprise, after a few good, safe introductions, and supervised exposure, Oscar has become a real big brother to her. We had a play date just this week and the beating he took, without a HINT of retaliation, was quite refreshing for me to witness (as he spent his youth battering every dog he ever played with!). He was gentle, patient, and really quite sweet - for a change!!
