wow- ok I must have looked in the wrong place for canidae- my quick search previously yielded something like $60-$80/40 lbs. Now I see that even if I ordered it from amazon it would be cheaper, lol.

Geesh, your right, 33 lbs, so that makes it a dollar a pound. Yikes, that dog is spendy. Makes raw so much better. However, with this Lab I have to be careful on food since he tends to just get loose and stay loose with anything other than Chicken Soup......I do give him beef recreational bones and he is okay with that, but any more raw than that and he is a squirting mess.
Damn, that means you win the price range war.....hee hee

I pay $35 for 40 lbs of Canidae at the local Agway which is better than $45 for 30 lbs of Nature's Variety that my pup didn't like. Agway however only carries the BASIC BRAND ... I have to go to Mother Hubbard next door for the Dog Treats. She carries all variety's of Canidae but for $3-$5 more per bag than the Agway.
I just wish it was carried LOCALLY in my town ... at ONE of our MANY BIG BOX Pet Stores. They all carry the same JUNK!
