no weight pulling till what age? my girl probably cant do it, she developed arthritis about 2 years ago... its weird, she sits normal at times, and others she kinda almost sits...like a squat. I'd like to have the boy do weight pulling though... is 6 months too soon for even a light weight? and are there special harnesses made for this or are the walking ones ok?
Clarify by spelling every little thing out. Some people can be extreme when drawing their own conclusions.
Collin, wait until your boy is at least 18 months before putting ANY weight in the jug. Yes, it's a special harness. If you use your favourite search engine, you'll find some wonderful resources. I like the harness types that have the dorsal hitch (top), not the flank (side). Dog has more movement and doesn't feel "trapped." Though, with proper imprinting, it would all be a matter of taste.
