I read that one hour for every month the puppy is old, plus one hour. So MAX 1-2 two hours for a one month old puppy, 2 - 3 hours MAX for a 2 month old, and so on.
We gave Star regular outside breaks and threw a party every time, even in the middle of the night. I don't think she ever had an accident after she was 2 months old.
Even now, she runs to the front door if she even has to throw up. She just knows that everything "like that" is done outside.
