He was told to WAIT, yet he decided to go in the property anyway. He then grabbed the wife- like THAT'S a smart thing to do. He's lucky the hubby didn't retaliate. The man recovered, and came out on top of the whole thing. The dog was being protective- they need to highlight that this IDIOT grabbed the wife. This is not situation normal, as in an aggressive dog looking to start a fight.

We should email this idiot too: Animal Warden Mark Johnson. Blast the guy or be diplomatic - doesn't make a difference with this type of person. Ignorant and blind.

The legal system - not about justice. Not sure any more what it IS about. More political than judicial. Edited to add: judges with agendas.
I'm livid. Livid and tired of this crap. Past tired.

I love this! I haven't heard it put that way before, but you are right! This term covers so many people.....I will remember this. Thanks.

I am with you Sandy. It is frustrating and tiring to see that people who are obviously uneducated about dogs and their behavior get to sit in judgement.

I didnt wanna read the story because I knew I'd get upset.
I read, Im upset.
when I was a child I was deathly afraid of dogs. my neighbors had 2 very large pit bulls. at 8 I was attacked, but luckily not bitten badly. at 8 I blamed the owners not the dogs. I blamed myself for going too near the property even though the gates were closed. the owners opened the gate knowing their dogs were excited.... approached the yard after told not to. after seeing the gate open. after seeing large dogs feeding in the yard that had an open gate. at 8 I would have been a little weary about passing. do you have to be a rocket scientist to put all this together? granted, they are not dangerous dogs, jus people not willing to listen to given directions...
Clarify by spelling every little thing out. Some people can be extreme when drawing their own conclusions. |

Just heard from a friend in New Jersey that they lost the case. They are now asking for calls to Gov Corzine to encourage her to overturn it. The phone # is 609-292-6000

As a resident of New Jersey and within driving distance of Princeton, I am very upset to have logged on too late to be a part of the demonstration this morning. I did the next best thing and signed the petition in one place and voted to save Congo in another. I also wrote an email to the judge.
Lastly, I just called Governor Corzine's office using the telephone number the previous poster shared. It brings you directly to the Governor's office! Thank you, Lisa, for posting the telephone number.
I asked, "Who do I need to speak to to share my voice in saving Congo"? She was very, very nice and told me that this phone call is all they need. I asked, "Are you receiving a decent amount of phone calls to save him"? She answered,"Oh yes, many, many phone calls"!!
So if any of you have 30 seconds to spare, please call. There is no voicemail, no automated anything. You get a human being instantly!!

I called and emailed. Stupid Warden, me thinks he should read and learn more about animal behaviour. As far as the gardner NOT DOING what the man told him, he deserves every bite he got, and not a dime of the money.
The dog I just rescued 5 days ago was titled dangerous. Everyone at the vets office he went to in Georgetown was freaking out coz I ended up with him, they kept asking was I having any problems, I told them no, none. they thought he would be PTS. Bad owner and no packwork at all,,,,,I spoke to previous owner of 5 days she is an idiot.NO packwork, not even a leash or crate.
Thank God, he did not get PTS he is AWESOME. And to think, he may have died over an idoit owner.
Ha ha, he is a big old baby, now on the other hand, if someone grabs me, I hope he does the same, and figure he will.
