I admit, I did see your post the other day but missed sending you a welcome -- my eyes were too glazed over looking at Bosco on the beach in Aruba.
He is a gorgeous dog and -- well -- the white sand ... blue water ... gentle waves ... just made me close my eyes and try to tap my heels together ... wishing I was in Aruba ...
I say Welcome too!!! I have to admit, I too was just wishing I was in Aruba...(versus Iowa).
Also, quite honestly, when looking at your pic, I flashed back on your other thread, with inquiry about his weight...in the ocean pic, I do think he looks a bit heavy...perhaps it is muscle...
And your smile is awesome, beautiful. Glad you are here...
Thank you ladies and gentlemen for the welcome note,
I am like a sponge, who will absorb all the information I get like water. I hope you don't mind, I am still training Basco in DFG with Berhnard Flinks, the 1rst DVD of the 5 I bought, so there is a chance that I will ask more questions as I go along.
And Michele, I appreciate your honest comment about the weight of my dog, and I agree, maybe my dog is a little heavier then most GSDs but I am sure he is in shape. And thank you for the other kind comments about my dog (and me). Basco does not look so bad for an accident in breeding, does he ?
And by the way, I know I am only supposed to ask training questions and so forth, but I could not help but noticing, isn't Leerburg a Dutch name? (heritage: dutch?)
P.S: Steve, funny video, maybe you are the expert/the appropiate person to ask the next question: why do dogs do ride up on people?
