I agree with this.
I think that some dogs want to hide a high-value item like that for later private enjoyment.
Even meats *might* mess up some dogs, but I think most can switch whenever. Try it, and if you have problems then approach the switch a little slower. I doubt you'll have any problems.
It does get easy. Does anyone else hear live in an area that has the $5 turkey sale going on. I buy lots of those. It is cheaper then dog food and easy. Up to 16LB for $5. $7 for bigger.
