i really think you should stay I have been here for a short time also and have learned a lot. Training or other things. Anna you need to realize life is not all fun. There needs to be some seriousness also. This forum is the best I have found and hope one day you realize the same. But hey to each his own but I think your making a big mistake. I also hope it gets locked.

Hm,
Well you are right, all the little fun forums get locked, and you do have to watch what you say here, i know i pay a lot more attention to what i say here and the topics i start here then i do in the myspace groups i am in.
That being said i see this more of a resource then a community of friends or random people with a bunch of pets that don't know how to take care of them, and would probably pay a monthly fee for the forum if it was needed.
Also i don't train my dog in sports, and am honestly not that big of a fan of sports (one day i might warm up) i have a working dog that i train. And while the sports and health issues are the majority in this forum i have deffently have made some great connections that have to do with LEO K9 training.

I must say that I've learned alot more from the people here than from all the people on the other 'pet' forums I visit. Things do get pretty silly on those and if I need advice or have a question I always come here! I for one am very glad that I found this forum, I wish I'd found it earlier when I got Bayley but better late than never!

Hmmm, Cindy, but they have FUN doing it......
ROFLMAO, guess she did not like our responses to a swollen anal gland and obviously the advice on the bark collar didn't work.
We HAD team memebers like that once. It is unfortunate, but obviously for the best.

Anna, everyone's already said it, but I think you are misguided in your impression of this website. I am a rank amateur when it comes to dog training, but I'm not a moron, and I know good advice when I read it. There is so much crappy (and potentially dangerous) advice out there when it comes to every aspect of owning a dog, that I feel extremely grateful to have found this site. And most days I find a post that makes me laugh out loud...
I read your threads regarding the health of your dog, and everyone responded with kindness and concern about your dog's health issues (which BTW had nothing to do with training)
Just can't figure out where you are coming from on this one...
Hope you find what you're looking for on the other forum...

While I agree with this, I also want to say that I feel I have made some great friends....now to just put faces to names...
Although, I bet I could figure out if they had their dog with them........

Yeah, I agree.....(hanging head and going to play with my dog )
It is one if not, the best site there is for training and feeding advice. I would be stuck on kibble if I never found this site.

Maybe I got the wrong impression but I was touched on how many people went out of their way to help you with your dogs many health problems. Not many boards actually have educated people with educated answers.
All I have to say is, it's your loss.
