Glad you're back safe and sound (for now - ha!)
Pic #1 - tug and orbee - perfect!
Pic #2 - the domineering type LOL
Pic #3 - glad to see you're still feeding the others
Yeah, she likes toys, however my sleeve WITH my arm in it is her favorite so far....and she gets pissy about the redirect too... Sounds like another pup I know . To find an item to redirect the bite when mom's right there??? Good luck! Nothing's more fun than a good solid bite on an arm.

Sandy,
OMG this girl is gonna be fun.
She bites NICE and HARD too.....battle scar pics to come for sure.
She tackled the stairs like a champ, takes them two at a time. Has learned where the fridge is already.
This morning she found the buffalo skull that is at her level and she had a go at that.
I find myself this morning boiling a roast to use as treats, as she is PICKY on her rewards.
Doug was actually playing with her this morning with the leather bite rag AND she found his old ripped up Carhartt jacket and she loves to tug that, so he donated it and I will make some tugs out of it.
The camera battery is dead so I am waiting for it to charge and then I will get some good pics.

I should have posted pics of my battle scars, long since healed. Of course, at the time it was happening, I was too embarrassed to post them, thought I was doing something wrong . But I'd love to see yours
Ah yes, the fridge - have fun with that HAHA
Since Doug is so cool with Ember, playing with her and donating his old jacket and all, maybe you should have brought Dante back with you! J/K

I was wishing I could have. But, one is enough (as much as I hate to admit it)
He is a beaut though.

LOL! This totally cracks me up. I can picture it clearly. Well, you gotta start somewhere! A sign of things to come? Today...your hands. Tomorrow...buffalo?
This dog sounds like a firecracker! Congrats again, Carol. I can't wait to see what this dog (and you) can do down the road.
Did you bring us presents from Ed and Cindy's?

Presents next time, I promise. I did not have really any time to shop. I got there at 5, we went for supper and then we crashed kind of early since they had puppy camp the next morning.

So glad to hear you made it home safe and sound, Carol. Congrats again on your new baby
LOVE those pictures and can't wait to see more. Has Ember met any of her new siblings yet...who was/will be the first?

She met Rock and Max. She is a "tough" little shit and so Rock had to tell her to leave his toy alone. I was trying to reel in the long line and bring her to me and Rock kept coming as well, so it was the
"Rock, blibe" "Ember Heir" "No Rock you blibe" "Come on Ember" "NO Rock you stay there" and of course Doug standing there laughing but sorry he let Rock out before checking.
She thought Max was great. Max is really good with puppies and if they get to persistent he just does this low growl and puts a paw on them. She still played with him, but didn't try to play tug with his ears after that. It is funny to watch a 100 hound playing with a small pup that thinks she is bullet proof. (she completely ignored Marley (that is because he is a dumb lab and she is better than that)
Have not ventured out to meet the "bitches" yet though. We will wait for awhile on that one.

I wanna know who lied and said puppies sleep for up to 20 hours a day!!!!
She is now on my lap sleeping (with one eye open), otherwise.....nu-uh no way, too much to do and to many things to bark at and tug on.
I was duly warned though and actually it is great to play with a pup again.
