He will be six weeks on Friday. I'm Scared because I don't want to make the wrong move. He has not shown any worms in his stool, since yesterday. I was about 4 or 5 inches long!! It scared me of course I never saw anything like it....
sounds like round worm (they can be 7 inches long) I think that 6 weeks old is old enoung. I agree with Carol, just keep looking for a veterinarian that your compfortable with...
I have dewormed many puppy's at 6 weeks.
They have all been fine. Nothing ever happened Most people might think different but I think the younger the better it could cause less health problems in the long run. Also Do wait a while for shots I made that mistake And lost one. But the wormer go ahead That would be best. Connie has a lot of info Connie help.

OK, so he is the age that most vet med sites say to worm.
One worry checked off.
If you are frantic about the worming, then select the best of, say, three vet calls, and take him in for the worming Friday.
Make clear when you call AND when you go in that he is NOT TO BE VACCINATED. Say whatever you like..... that he already had shots but you have to get the records because the breeder did it.... or whatever (I mean if this is merely a stopgap vet).
Then come home and methodically start calling vets. The links I gave you had over 30 holistic vets in your approximate area. You can also Google your town, comma, veterinarians. You can even look in the yellow pages. After all, these are just starting points to get names..... not your final choice.
Remember that when you call it's not to ask the questions right then. That is definitely not productive (or fair). It's to make an appointment for a phone chat. Any vets who demur .... easy-peasey; they're scratched off the list.
It'll all work out. More posters from your area will see the thread, too.
He's playful I had him sleep for a while cause he seem a little discomfort. I not sure If he's in pain. He still has a good appetite. I should wait then? I'll take him Friday when he turns 6 weeks....

Friday sounds fine to me. Puppy folks? Good?
Sounds good, unless he is showing signs of stress and/or illness.
As long as his appetite and water intake stays up he should be good until Friday......just make sure he potties outside
(I am not a vet and this is just my opinion)
Until The Tale of the Lioness is told, the Story will Always Glorfy the Hunter
Go ahead and deworm him. It will be liquid that they give him. Then you will give him more in 2 weeks. He will be fine It will help him put weight on right and all that the sooner the better.
