it WAS funny at the time, me, a this 22 year old girl, 3 snarling dogs and this little plastic stick...
my yard isn't fenced in, i wish it was though. I could take the dogs and drop them off at animal control if i had to.
Our humane society won't take pit bulls. So if they went to the shelter, they would be at risk to be put down after so many days. And, these people care so little, i honestly don't think they'd go look for the dog at animal control, especially when they are going to get slapped with all kinds of fines, the roaming dog charges, no collar or tags, no county liscense(plus the higher fee for an unaltered dog), plus the medical care the animal control will provide, like the spay/neuter, flea treatment, plus these dogs are underweight....i don't think they'd get their dogs out.
now, that might not be a bad thing, this s going to sound terrible, but if they went to animal control, there would be 2 less poorly bred, unsocialized, malnourished pit bulls in the world. I love this breed, but this breed in these conditions is a ticking time bomb, that i would rather not have in my neighborhood around children.

Mallory...I wonder what Animal Control will say when you tell them that your attorney has advised you that you will be getting a nice, big fat settlement when one of those dogs bites you or attacks one of your family from them because they refused to take the situation seriously and after countless attempts to have them neutralize the situation that they failed miserably and you are going to hold them accountable.
just a thought..

My vet knows people who are still paying off lawsuits 12 years later after their dog bit someone. It's a win/win for you if you document everything.

Isn't as chuck-it that ball throwing thing?
Oh heck no! I go no place without a retractable spring stick. I am kind and choose the spring type, but you don't have to. The best part is that retracted they appear as flashlight, some have a light, but open, they work like a bat, a pry bar and a poker.
