She started vomiting today.
I think it is from the meds.
but she is sleeping and not sponky anymore.
So my vet said to stop them
i will fast her for today then start boiled chicken and rice for one week
The smell is even better today
I think it is just some weird thing I am not sure
Any way does anyone know anything else is could be we did blood test and vainal and anus
Nothing
What is the yeast thing I have not heard of that in a long time I do not rememberwhat it is?
You can't tell exactly where the smell is coming from?
Sometimes yeast infections occur when the immune system is weak.
This is what I would do:
Add some plain yogurt to her diet with the boiled rice and chicken. This may help get her intestinal flora back to where it needs to be.
If you are planning on bathing her, add 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar to warm water in your sink and let her sit in it for 5 minutes or so, if she'll tolerate it. Yeast can occur when pH is too high, and the vinegar helps lower the pH. You can add a teaspoon or so of vinegar directly to her food, too. My pup eats it w/ his food and doesn't seem to mind the taste.
If it's not yeast, none of what I just said will help, but it won't hurt her either!
The smell is coming from her back right before her tail and the back of her legs not from the but or vaginal area.
My vet said she did not know I had to take her back for the throwing up today.
She did one more skin scrape and another check nothing.
She also smelled it this time
She said it could be from her skin heeling but that her sores are loking really good and getting fur back.
If no more problems she goes back friday for HEARTWORM TEST AND WE WILL GO FROM THERE.
If neg she will get frontline and heartgaurd.
rabies
I got a ticket 2 weeks ago for Jewel not having rabies or being registers.
So I can't risk that again.
$240
So even if she is not up to par I have to have a rabies by friday when animal control come back to my home.
On her and my cats which one has had kittens 3 days ago.
If the smell is getting better, could it be the skin is healing up? The location where you describe her sores are where flea allergy usually shows up. She probably had fleas and chewed herself raw. If you have got rid of all the fleas, she will start to heal and the smell should go away. That is what I think it is. Just my opinion. Also the good food you are giving her will most likely help her heal faster too.
