Count me in that ('60's) group. My (pet) dogs did fine and always knew what was wanted of them and happily obeyed, but there was one dog that could have come along faster and easier if I had used food. My current dog is the first dog I've trained with treats.
Sandy, could you comment on what you see as the difference in your dogs trained both ways...in terms of reliability and enthusiasm - overall "mental health" of the dog? Thanks!
