I saw an episode for the first time the other day. She was working with a large breed dog (bull something? can't remember the breed, sorry) that was having aggression issues with house guests. I did appreciate that she was upfront with the owners in telling them that they could not tolerate this or the behavior would get worse, and would have to be diligent in their training to fix the behavior. I guess I'm glad she didn't just say "the dog is dangerous, get rid of it."
Lol-- her outfits are quite... bold. Somehow I always end up disheveled when I work with my dogs I can't quite picture myself dressing up to do it. Maybe it's a European television thing? fashion is different everywhere I suppose...
Having worked in film in the past I'm certain that the producers want Victoria Stillwell to dress like a dominatrix for dogs (ewwww....that's an ugly picture). I'm sure she doesn't walk around in leather and black coats all the time.
I've noticed that most dog training shows are designed to appeal to the masses, which means simple problems and relatively simple solutions. I usually don't watch any of them because I get frustrated with the owners. Like on one episode of 'It's Me or the Dog' they had a nastily spoiled Yorkie that they allowed to eat off the table. To me the solution is OBVIOUS but apparently not to the average dog owner.

I looked at her site, she is also a actress maybe she wants to be the next Barbara Woodhouse. I'm sure they make things a little more dramatic for tv like any reality show. I see they have a forum , interesting stuff there. http://www.victoriastilwell.com/phpBB2/index.php
