I work at a big box pet store so I run into this every day with people who refuse to buy crates, refuse to train, and yet come to me in about 3-4 months about their dog who chews up everything and doesn't listen to them.

I had the same experience. Those kind of people got me fired, unfortunately. But you probably have a better temper and more patience than I do =)
