I went ahead and tried the crate!!! Seems to be working GREAT!!! I know I was just putting my own silly fealings on crating her... like I was thinking, she would think it was punishment or something.
Excellent!! I have many people tell me that they think crating a dog will cause the dog to think they are in trouble, when in all actuality the dogs like the crate, since it is like a den to them.
Crates are excellent for keeping a dog still and quiet, especially when the dog is usually vigilant about wandering the house. It gives them a sense of security therefore allowing them to get the proper rest that they need.
