So if you did not attend the school yourself you should keep your negative comments to yourself!
The OP asked for opinions of the school. The 2 negative opinions expressed were by a person who went to the school...and said it sucked...and another who met and worked with a number of their graduates...and said they sucked.
I have been down this road on this subject in the past and some of the negativity comes from people who DID NOT attend the school. Everyone has a right to their opinion, however negative comments should only be given by someone who actually attended N K9, not by someone who has dealt with students from that school in their past.I have a successful full time training, grooming and boarding business for 3 years. I am booked three weeks in advance and have a waiting list. I do not advertise, all my business is Vet referrals and client word of mouth. I work 6-7 days a week, approx. 10-12 hours a day. If I attended such a poor school I highly doubt I would have the business I do today.Maybe the individuals who did not like the school and are bad trainers were losers to begin with and would not make a good trainer no matter what school they attended.
So if you did not attend the school yourself you should keep your negative comments to yourself! This is the most close minded member dog forum I have ever been on. You people think your way is the only way. Open your eyes!
Sorry, I have yet to meet a good trainer that has come out of that school, and as I lived in Ohio for many years, I knew a lot of them - none of whom I would recommend.
And as far as keeping negative comments to myself, if I see first hand that over a dozen trainers from that program don't have the basic skills to do dog training, sorry, that's worth bringing up.
And the OP asked for advice, and we gave it to them, sorry that it apparently hurt your feelings.
And I definately don't find this forum to be "close minded", instead we are truthful and sometimes the truth offends people, but it's better than the BS that borders on unethical on many forums. When we see a problem, we state it clearly - again, some people can't handle the truth.
Pointing out the truth isn't "bashing", by the way...
