Rapid City shows are indoors. But what is nice about Rapid City is the obedience and the rally are upstairs with the breed rings down stairs. One room has two obedience rings and one room has the rally ring. It is VERY quiet so there are not the usual distractions that you can get at a breed/obedience combined show. There are not a lot of outdoor obedience trials in the region, primarily due to the varied weather. I am sure there are some in CO but off the top of my head, the only ones that are outdoor that I know of is Bozeman, MT's trial in May/June and Missoula, MT's June trials.
