Ember is everything I could ask for in a dog, even her attitude is great and we do well together. I am really pleased how she is coming along, and we may be slower than most, but I want to make sure that I do it right with her. I will try and be better at posting progress. I love the work that I do and I think it is super important to do it correctly in order to have a reliable resource to those that need us. Until The Tale of the Lioness is told, the Story will Always Glorfy the Hunter

I know a lot of the Malinois we see are doing "superhuman" obedience exercises by the time they start teething but I am not convinced that asking so much of them at a young age is the best thing for the long term career of the dog. They are babies after all! The most important skill we should all be teaching our young dogs is HOW to learn. Once you have that embedded in their brain, the sky is the limit. Wowzie, good work!! Both of you!! Yeah, we have a LONG way to go...she is telling me they are there, so now it is working on each thing separately and then chain it all together later. I do not think she is going be too tough though. She loves the odor and she knows the odor means reward now, so now I need to shape it nice and slow since we cannot certify until 18 months. Unless I have a litter with Jesea....my next dog will be another Kaiserhaus Mal, but I would really like a male this time...HINT....hint....hint.....
