Well, she certainly has more energy than I do. LOL Going for walks really helps her. I would like a few fun things to do with her out in the yard. I saw on one post ( I don't remember which one) that someone recommended tying a towel or something to a long rope (?) and swinging that around in a circle and letting the dog chase it. I need to do that. She is great at playing ball but we need more things to do.
She is awesome looking. My dogs LOVE hide and find. I will show them a toy then hide it. At first my pup was awful but at six months he is now just as good at the game as my five year old boxer.
Hi Barbara, Justice is a good looking little girl! I started playing find the dirty sock (donated dirty socks from friends) when she was about six monthes. She is three now and still loves playing the game.
Before I got Justice, when I was talking to breeders, I kept saying that "looks" were secondary to temperament. BUT I had in my head that she would be tan with the black saddle and more traditional (in my mind) coloring. Her coloring isn't at all what I planned to get. LOL BUT, she really is a wonderful dog! And I think she is gorgeous. :-)
She absolutely amazes me with her intelligence and just WHO she is. She is much more serious and focused than any other puppy I have had before. I am so loving it when there is just this "connection" when I show her something new and she "gets it".
When I took her for a walk yesterday, a family was out walking and stopped to chat about Justice. She already draws peoples attention. I live on a corner, and we had just rounded our corner so we were still at home, she still had all her energy. LOL As I was talking to this family, Justice just sat down next to me and looked around. I was so pleased with her! She wasn't going crazy everywhere, she wasn't jumping all over them, (I guess she saves all of that for ME at home! LOL) as a matter of fact the daughter knelt down to pet or play with Justice but Justice just stayed sitting next to me, all on her own with no prompts from me, and looked at her but made no move to go to her. Inside I was shouting YESSSS. We finished our walk, encountered a loud barking dog behind a wood fence that Justice didn't really care for but I just kept going as normal so she did too. We had a lovely walk. :-)
I definately feel a "connection" with Shadow as well. I love all my dogs but with Shadow it is something special. She seems to understand and "get it" much quicker than any other dog I have ever owned. Your Justice sounds like a little sweetie!
