Cinci is pretty good about clearing the dogs fairly quickly. I was there in May, picking up someone with a dog, and I got the dog about 15 minutes before the friend cleared customs: dog =40 minutes...
I have also picked up a dog directly from cargo, and it was about the same.
Am flying out of there next week (to Europe)instead of out of Nashville. Lot more efficient and friendlier (Delta), plus the layover was 3-4 hours. Same amount of time to drive....
One of the "so ugly they are cute" breeds... I have vowed to never own a dog that snores louder than me though... As it is I am gonna be single forever. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz
Cincy is a great airport. When I fly, if I have to have a layover I always have it there.
I would go with a mix of cardboard and paper towels before the newspaper, but either will work.
Are you getting 2 and selling one? Or just planning to take on 2 pups at once? I know a lot of people will buy two pups and sell one just because of the shipping arrangement.....
i got my 3rd leerburg shepherd 5 & 1/2 weeks ago (a dylan/cogo pup) and i am very very pleased with her. i have owned german shepherds on & off for the last 37 years and there will always be on in my life , but i was introduced to one of those their so ulgy their cute dogs (called pugs) when i meet the lady that i married some 17 years ago and i will tell you this also - - - that you have never been LOVED TILL YOU BEEN OWNED BY A PUG - - - we have 5 pugs with us now and their will also be a pug in my life till i die. ALLEN BYRD
I saw a GREAT GSD from France last year. The dog was imported from Belgium and raised in France by a German then shipped over here. Great great great dog. . .
They are Dobermann pups. A friend and I are having them shipped together to cut costs. The sire is Asco v. Burgstatte. Asco is out of Alfred v. Urftquell and Brista Doberwache. The dam is a french ring dog and she goes back to Bingo v. Ellendonk. I assume if anyone knows Dobermanns you know they don't get any better than this. Mannix and Kleo were both PSP. Most know the story of Mannix. These lines have proven themselves as PSD's and PSD producers. Bristas brother Pedro is SEK certified. I should have clarified. I am in Ohio but its a direct flight to Chicago. I have to drive to Chicago to get him. The breeder is 30km south of Paris. I am very excited to get my new man eater. I like the idea of the grate. With newspapers under the grate. Call me crazy but, I hope to turn him into a PSD. I will be a deputy in 2 years. Watch for us at the nationals in a few years.
Oh and incase you didn't know Asco and several of his litter mates and his mother Brista qualified for the 2002 DM's.
