I was going to reply that I thought the possession/purchase/sale of wolves was probably illegal in Alaska. I know the possession/puchase/sale of most wildlife is illegal without about a zillion permits and licenses here in Missouri, and wolves are a protected species, which makes things even more strict.
Glad to hear your son was just joking about getting a wolf, though. Wild animals do not make good pets.
