I'm very happy for you Ed! I can't imagine too many ways that an individual can vastly change the way the soldiers live, eat, spend their time, etc. But you found a way to do it.
Congratulations on gettings things started in helping all those deserving, heroic soldiers!!!
Makes me proud to know you (well, I sort of know you) Mr. Frawley!
I just saw the spot on the NBC news. I'm sitting here like "god, that's awful" and then they showed that 10-sec clip of the YouTube video and I'm like, "...wait" and then they said "Frawley" and I finally put two and two together and I screamed "I KNOW THAT GUY!" and my dogs looked at me funny.
Leave it to Ed to spread the word. You're the last person I'd expect to take something like this sitting down, that's for sure!
I also need to say publicly how very proud I am of Ed for how he has helped make a difference for so many deserving American soldiers.
For anyone who thinks one person can't make a difference.....think again!
These last 4 days have been extremely grueling and hectic for all of us, but Ed has taken it all in stride and I just couldn't be prouder of him. I think his message was "heard" by the higher ups because he truly did this for the right reasons. He wasn't some reporter scouting out a story,he wasn't looking for anything other than a few congressmen's support and his heart and soul were in this from the beginning.
I saw it and thought "Hey I know that guy!" Then as I listened,
I thought "Go Ed, GO!"
We treat frikkin criminals better. It's thouroghly shameful and
disgusting. Near work there are two prisons. One abandonded, old
and in disrepair. Another new, and shiny clean. Guess which one that barracks looked like?

I'm very proud of this video. My little brother was stationed at Fort Bragg before he was hurt, sent to Walter Reed, and finally Fort Lewis. He mentioned what terrible conditions they were all in but jeese, I had no idea how bad conditions were.
I'm glad they're inspecting, and I'm glad the military says they're taking care of it. I agree, the NBC report is much better than the CBS one.
