Yup, we'll be there, looking forward to seeing you and Sasha!
Well, I will be there....inexplicably, my bf is going to watch the F1 race there (I've said it before, he obviously has strange priorities when he's watching cars over dogs!).
He has a really - really - nice camera, so I'm hoping to convince him it should be used to take pictures of dogs, not cars.
(The scary thing is my mother is selfishly using her car that weekend (heh) so we'll be taking the bf's car and I'm supposed to drive it to the field....he's been teaching me how to drive standard, and I'm doing pretty good, but I really hope it turns out I can get there by public transit or something since being new to standard in a strange city will probably freak me out a wee bit. )
luc did great again! (sorta a long explanation, but i don't regularly have cops hanging out outside my house )
i was walking home from the subway and looked down my street to see a patrol car w/the lights flashing parked outside my house (not by the front door, but still).
i hurried along and then i saw a patrol car, not flashing, blocking one of the driveways on another street of the low-rise apartment building that's across the street south of me. then i saw the 3 patrol cars parked on the east side of the building. phew!
i took the dogs out to go potty, their potty area is right where the patrol car with the flashing lights was. luc hackled at it and mumbled a bit, but minded me when i told him to stop that.
i did go over to the patrol car to ask if i needed to be concerned about anything, and apparently they were just looking for a guy (in that building, obvs).
then luc came over and both dogs got petted i was also very pleased that luc was happy to go up to something that he'd reacted to, even if it was a mild reaction, and something he'd never seen before. go luc! teagan loves cars, so she was totally happy it was there.
