I would worry that the Cytoxan might lower the platelet count, just ask the doc. It is used for RA in people. For all treatments, I would ask what is the expected benefit and expected harm to the patient. Are the allergies seasonal? Are they likely to improve in the fall?
Again I want to thank all of you for your input and advice. Unfortunatly it's over for Raven. I won't go into details as it is very difficult to talk about right now. My only comfort is that she is not in pain anymore. She can run free at the Rainbow Bridge and once again be healthy. Thank you all so much.

Ann, most of us have been there.
I want to say that if we ever even THINK that the PTS choice MIGHT be right, then it probably is. We don't tend to turn to that choice earlier than we should; we generally shy from it. So my guess is that you made the right choice for your dog, no matter how bad it was for yourself.
I think with gratitude of the times when I had that blessing to offer, of the painless end beside the loving friend.
Thank You. Actually Raven made her own choice and I just assisted her in the journey. She was pretty bad yesterday and you know they give you that look. I knew then it was time no more experiments. My son called and he understood and he trusted me to make the right choice. She layed on my lap I stroked her, the vet with a very heavy heart gave her the shot and she went to sleep. I miss her but no regrets, her poor young body just could not take anymore. My two furballs are mourning especially my female GSD, she really bonded with Raven, treated her like her own pup. Even my BC who was kind of a jerk to her most of the time is missing her.
Again thanks so much everyone for your reply's. I don't post to often anymore but I do know that if I need advice this is the place to come.

Yes, you did right.
And now the other dogs need most of all to be reassured that their pack structure is still solid. That has always helped me in some ways to grieve, yes, but to remain pack-leaderish for the dog(s) still with me.
Ann, my condolences to your son. I know it's hard to give him this news while he's serving in Iraq - that's tough. My condolences to you as well, and I hope your 2 dogs do well soon. I feel badly for all of you and of course for Raven.
