Thanks Katie. I did go on the NV site and did the feeding guide, but it doesn't say how much to feed a puppy. It only calculated the weight and not her age. The calculation for her weight was
12.9 oz, which I believe is not enough for her being a 7 month old. But I did get a brochure from the place I bought it at, and on there there was a small scale that suggested 28 oz per day.
So, that is what I am going by for now, and I will do as you suggested and keep a watch over her to see how she does.
Right now, she does still have the hint of rib showing, but it has only been three days.
I can't believe how well she is doing on the raw. No problems at all. What a relief. I am giving her recreational raw bones to satisfy her chewing and she loves them.
She also has liked some raw hamburger bites for training.
I have to admit the hard part of doing the home prepared all raw is knowing that I am giving her the right amount of neccessary
things to make sure she isn't being malnurished in any way.
I have more reading to do. Like I said, I am a complete newbie to raw feeding, but so far, I sure like what I see.
Thanks for your comments, all are appreciated!
