I have to go and take a look at them this weekend, they are going to bale all of the fields for hay so it should be pretty nice.
But you know, only so much time with all the training going on here. And I dont mean "keyboard training" my friend!!

That is great Art, let us know how they look when you go down there. I know you have been busy training, not just making your fingers sore on the keyboard; speaking of fingers being sore, how is the dumbell work on the table coming along with your dog? Do you think he will be ready this Dec? I have not seen you of late, so give me an update.

Hey Art is the seminar filled yet? How many teams are there? Will there be food on the property? Maybe we can get Will to come and grill us some steaks, that will be worth the price of at least auditing Art, I know I will be there then for both days for lunch.

Mike,
If I had that weekend off, I'd have already signed up!
Seriously, I've trained with Wallace at his club several times when I lived in Atlanta, that make *knows* how to pressure an advanced dog.
Plus he's been on the "podium" more times than I can count!
True story, my wife had a nice looking showlines GSD that I was never quite sure of, we had Wallace do some helper worker and during the bark & hold he gave the bitch a bite and then picked her up and turned her around, forcing her backwards into the blind. The bitch never let go, and from there on out I knew she had what it takes.

Sorry Will, I thought you were coming, Art had said Will was coming, and I just assumed it was you. That is too bad that you are busy, but at least you have gotten some training time in with him before. Maybe next time? I cannot see why anyone who is within a few hrs and can make, why they don't. Seminars with instructors like this do not come along often.

Yeah, I have heard Wallace is quite the sleeve man as well.
Wallace is a straight up guy and will tell you how he feels and I respect that a lot. Talking to him thus far, I do not know if there is anyone that can match his level of enthusiasm about Schutzhund training. I wish I had the drive he has for the sport.
To make it to that level you have to be good at everything and do the work. There is just no other way around it other than to just get in the trenches and grab your dog.
We will have updates and hopefully some Youtube video. Mike, you want me to bring my table?

Hey Art, it may be a good idea to bring it out, I can stop by your place with my truck to pick the table up, so we can see it done at the seminar, as I know you do not have the truck anymore.
So how are the dumbells doing with the new table that you have built going?

I read somewhere else that a day with him, the next day you look like road kill............I think that is great to see someone give a seminar and really work you, instead of just giving you 10 minutes on the field and that is it, start at 8:30am break for lunch and be done by 5:00 at the latest. When I did Flinks we started at 7:30am and went until 11:00pm that night and again at 7:30am the next day, this is what I wanted.........I think by the end of day number 2 people were popping the advil and blk coffee to just get out of bed. I think we are in for this with Wallace, I can't wait! You can eat and sleep after the weekend is over. I remember years ago training at 4:30am then stopping at lunch, starting again at 6:00pm ending at 2:00 in the morning then starting again at 4:30am. I am not sure I can do this now, and most people think the 8:00 am start is hard as it is....hmmmmm..maybe I will have to change some training times around.........but it may be just me and my dogs then!!!

Yeah, I have heard Wallace is quite the sleeve man as well.
There is a show called 'Breed All About It' that ran on Sunday morning. It may still run for all I know.
In the German Shepherd episode, Wallace was featured as the helper on a dog doing Schutzhund work.
