I have a basic understanding of marker training, thanks to this site and to Ed.
Might you have some ideas of things to learn or how to use marker training, that will help me with Esperanza, thus helping to keep her in the home?
By the way, she really treats me, 80% of the time, as pack leader. I think that's pretty good after only 3 weeks of my limited understanding of "training".
If you look to the left under table of contents you will also find training articles, podcasts and ebooks.
I went to a "pawsitive" dog training class with my lab that was all marker training. It was very helpful and a good way at the time for me to socialize my dog. You may be able to find something like that where you live.
