From what I understand, 2 Pac is currently the "butler" at the Elvis spread after he lost a bet that he would be the most loved star of all time...
Apparently both Elvis and Rin Tin Tin were related species from the same planet. They took residency here on earth posing as celebrities to blend in. Apparently they are also closely related to the peacock, and can't blend in to save their lives. They did, however, become well liked, and Rin Tin Tin (with the help of Lassie and Petey) made the "dog" a credible member of society, enabling them to buy some time while plotting the downfall of the reptilian aliens who destroyed their home planet.(which is why they ended up here on earth) . Even though they are peaceful aliens (unlike the reptilian aliens) they still nurse a grudge for the loss of their home. Unfortunately, they are cursed (by the reptilian aliens no less) to "live in the moment" and this causes them to have a one track mind - thus the reason it has taken them this long to organize. Before coming to this planet, they didn't worry about walks or tugs and now they find them quite distracting.
Oh, and apparently before taking on a "dog" disguise, they first tried a bird like creature (the dodo), but it didn't work out so well for them, and they were unable to be taken seriously...

Rich, Cassie thanks you for asking.
She wanted to add her two cents worth in the previous post, but at the time I didn't feel like typing out, food food food for five pages or more and I tried to let her do the typing but it came like this: fmwksomgzoa95rugkabnmklmagr9aklamkmz ,as;pofpdwkf. The editing got stupid, so (hanging head here) I deleted it.
Now she's been fed and she's had her walk, but wouldn't you know it, just like any female she still has something to say. So a loose translation: Her over riding concern right now is wondering how us humans could allow the descendants of Charlemagne take over in the seats of industry? How could we allow them to take the helm at the ships of state? After all it's well known they're all related to one another!!! But we let it happen. Add to that, it's a well known fact that the Charlemagne linage has been melded with an alien reptilian species from outer space, they're not even fully human! And yet we trust and beleive these titans and captains will handle our fate for the good when the evidence abounds to the contary. She just doesn't understand.
I, personally (now that she's laid back down) think she's eaten too many feathers.
Randy
Randy, now I see your problem. It isn't too many feathers. You let her watch too much History Channel!

I asked Duke his opinion of all this and he snorted, then promptly farted, licked his tail, chased a fly into the screen door and said "#$^&$#%#$" then took a nap.
30 minutes later he says females think too much, and he wants to know why the neighbor's dogs don't have testicles. When I explained why, he hid under the desk and said he doesn't want the neighbor petting him anymore.
I don't know what to think. The cat has a lot to say about the reptilian alien things. Apparently I am one.

Maybe it's a guy thing because Murphy didn't really have an opinion either. He said if food or squirrels could be a discussion topic, he would be happy to provide input, but if not he was going to go eat something and take a nap. Gosh, it really IS a guy thing; substitute 'football' for 'squirrels' and Murphy sounds like every guy I ever dated.
Murphy doesn't know about or think about reptilian aliens, but he's pretty sure all people are at least a little nuts, and he thinks we'd all get along better if we learned to be more like dogs. He can't fathom why I have no interest in sniffing the butts of other people, and I don't even want to go there with him (literally or figuratively).
I told him was free to use the keyboard, but he refuses saying he can't type because he has no thumbs(?).

Do you mean we're talking about dogs too much, Ashley?
Maybe we should take it to the regular dog forum, alot of this stuff isn't well known to some of the more casual dog owners.
It would explain to them why dogs don't like cats (the cats aided and abetted the reptilians), why some dogs just don't like people at all (they go around cutting off or out their private parts), it explains why cats don't like anybody (every thing is an alien to them), it lets people know why tugs and walks are important (it keeps the dogs from taking over the world!)
Now if we could just figure out what we're going to do about the Charlemagne/reptilians us humans will have a nice place to live.
I've got to start taking the remote to bed with me! Cassie knows I only allow her to watch Leerburg videos.

OH MY GOD!!!!!! What a revelation! It never occurred to me that, instead of spending all those hours with with Hans, teaching him to come, sit, down, heel, stay off the kitchen counter, don't steal the food off my plate, poop in the neighbor's yard but don't eat their little dogs, etc. etc. etc., all I had to do was let HIM watch the Leeburg videos!

This reminds me. Wasn't there a discussion awhile back of a website that seriously was trying to sell "Training Videos For Dogs"? Supposedly you let you dog watch these videos and they self trained, or something like that? Oh, I can't remember exactly, but someone posted the link and it was in one way, hilarious, and, in another, horrible. Horrible because there are people who would BUY the dang video and use it.

Randy,
If you ever get a Tivo, don't teach Cassie how to use it. It'll be Animal Channel and Dog Shows day and night. She'll hog the remote control and won't let you near it.
I made that mistake, showing Hans how the remote works. I didn't see the harm in it, after all, he doesn't have an opposable thumb. Boy, was I wrong. Now my wife and I have to fight him when we want to watch the nightly news. And the Olympics? Forget about it!
