Word is going out tomorrow to my family.
"More Leerburg Gift Certificates for Christmas"!!!
That's how I got the three volume set by Steven R. Lindsay.
This new video on marker training will be at the top of my list.
Thanks Ed!

Bob, you were the one who larned me in a post of yours a few years back about the joys of LB Gift Certificates for holiday and birthday gifts!
It might take a while to convince family/friends that "the bigger the better" .... especially those who do not have dogs and have no idea of the zillions of things that we dog folks find absolutely necessary!

I didn't push hard enough last year.
Got a $#!+ load of Applebee's gift cards cause that's one of the places we eat after training.
I can do without eating, but new dog videos...

Persistence pays off: Last year I sent e-mails, wrote blogs, left post-it notes, etc. about how much I wanted Leerburg Gift Certificates for Christmas, and it paid off somewhat. Mostly I got cash that I spent at Leerburg, but it still amounted to the same (I got a new e-collar!!!). It's about the right time of year to start the harassment again. I can't WAIT to see the new DVD!!

I just ordered the DVD and a bunch of other stuff last night. The leather puppy leash and the bait bag are in my order. Can't wait to get it! Love the quality of items Leerburg sells. Has anyone seen the squeaky alphabet blocks? I ordered those too. Couldn't resist.

This is wonderful. I recently purchased 2 clicker training books but I still don't "get it" 100%. I am having trouble with how to move on to the "next thing" (once my dog figures out what behaviour I am clicking, he only offers that behaviour, even in the next session, then gives up because he is confused).
I also need to know how to train more complex exercises (like the finish after recall or an agility obstacle, for instance). I will purchase this DVD in the hopes that it will help clarify how a training session should look!
Anyone know if it covers loose leash walking? I would love to see how this can be done!

EARLY CHRISTMMAS PRESSY!!
I got the new DVD in the mail yesterday. I've viewed most of it but will definetly go thru it over and over again.
Since I've only titled one dog with marker training I still consider myself a newby to it. Even so I would recomend this video to any and all folks that want their dog to enjoy their training.
It's fantastic! Super explination of methods. Covers anything/everything about marker training that I can think of.
I loved the chapter where Ed/Cindy's work force use the clicker to teach EACH OTHER how it works. Cindy even had Ed (he's old ya know :grin dancing around a chair. Worth the price of admission right there!
If you've ever trained a dog, wanted to train a dog, thought about training a dog, this is easily one of the most imformative DVDS I've seen to date.
You've outdone yourself Ed/Cindy! You folks ROCK!
OLD DOGS REALLY DO LIKE TO LEARN NEW TRICKS!

I agree 110%, Bob!
That part was not only GREAT entertainment , but it really tweaked my thinking about explaining what I want to someone who has no language in common with me.
I picked up two (at least) huge aids for my training from just that one segment.

I got mine last week, just finished watching it for the third time....it is FANTASTIC! Answered many little questions for me. I can't believe how much better my dogs are responding. They love our training sessions and so do I. Watching them think is one of the most rewarding things about this type of training, I LOVE IT!
Thanks Ed and Cindy, good job to both of you. I love watching Rush work. What a nice dog!
