I am the legislative liason for the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America and write letters on behalf of the organization to areas considering BSL - even if it does not include ACDs - because at the end of the day, if it affects one breed, it will likely affect all breeds. It is amazing what a well written, non-combatitive letter can do. Or even a non-confrontational meeting. I just got done writing one to a county in Oregon last week and luckily, it looks like it won't need to be sent as the council member who was considering such legislation sat down with an Am Staff breeder who educated her on why BSL laws are not effective. http://www.psychtkennel.com

Even sadder when 95% of all breeds effected are cupcakes with a little bit of socilazation. Even worse, your truly dangerous breeds (central asian shepherd, caucasian shepherd, Maremma, ect...) dont make anyones list.
