Thanks for all the input everyone, I hate it when my guys gets hurt beyond the small scratches..I still can't figure out what he did, it looks to big to be a chain link poke.
He doesnt have thick fur at all or any extra meat on him, so he is missing that extra bit of protection
it is looking good today, A little weepy but its clear fluid not thick or colored at all so it likely just the normal stuff that comes along with owies. There is no swelling around it at all and it doesnt seem horribly painful.
With cats I start them on antibiotics as soon as they get an owie, I have one who insists on being let outside, and can outlast me as far as the fit throwing goes lol, and she also thinks she is an mighty warrior so she has come in with some nasty owies!
