3 dogs - 2 GSDs (Luc and Teagan), and a husky/terrier mix (Nebekenezzer).
No more than that for me - it's a perfect number in terms of keeping me busy, i like the dynamics we have right now, plus, my bf would kill me if I added another animal into the house.
I have 3 too - all GSD's - although its amazing how many people still ask me what kind of dogs they are - I guess since two are all black and one long hair on top of that and my black/red is long haired and extra large people have asked if hes got wolf in him - Uggghh. If I didnt work full time I would consider another, maybe....
4 for me
I have 3 GSD's two of which are males (2 yrs & 2.5 yrs) and one is a 5 mos old female. I also have a 6 yr old Golden Ret who has turned into a grumpy old fart whenever the puppy gets near him
I only have ONE in my household first the first time in many years. Of course the dogs we've bred have never spent more than a month at a time at my place since my partner has the room for the proper set-up, so I won't count them . We've had as many as TWELVE at a time, and that is about as many as I ever want to be responsible for at any given time. But for now....ONE
3, two houndog mixes and the holy terror...husky.
3 is more than enough and some days its chaos, but we love them all and like the combination and balance we have right now.
