Vomited food has spent some time in the gut stewing so it would be more saturated. IME, most dogs will eat regurg but won't touch vomit. True

Actually, this is probably terrible of me, but I have a cat who regurgitates if she eats too quickly, but she won't touch it. since Luc was always mooning around while I cleaned up, I sort of trained him to clean it up himself - he does a great job! Now as soon as he hears her (she had her esophagus punctured by a dog and makes a distinctive sound) he jumps up and goes off to clean! Teagan!
