I understand that I am the alpha. I have that established, its not perfect yet but Im getting there. In the Leerburg vidoes there was a section saying that the more dominant of the dogs needs to be petted first and fed first. Thats what I was having trouble figuring out.

IMHO, this would take second place to establishing your own leadership over all of the dogs.
I think, based on my experience with owners of dogs I work with (knowledgeable and other), that many companion dog owners are not able to make that call correctly and would be best off not trying to, and then treating the dogs differently based on it.
Skip that part and do what Connie said. They are always going to have their ranks amongst themselves. IME, it's best not to get involved in that and to instead make it your policy to enforce the same expectations of behavior all around. I feel for you; I was disappointed at first when it was clear that my 2 best pals couldn't be anywhere near eachother.
