Tommy, will you actually place the order for the dividers to come from Japan? too bad you are in Texas or we could have joint our orders.

I also contacted dogsupplies.com and am communicating with either their customer department or the owner (maybe one and the same. The problem as you know is that:
1 -- the cab width between the wheels is less the 42" wide
2 -- oddly enough & id does not add up, after you place a 21" crate in there, only 18" remain, so the 21" is not true to size
3 -- not all dogs fit into a 21" wide crate. My female GSD does, but as orignally said, my larger, musceled male did not fit

What I would like is actually a type of gate that fits securely behind the driver/passenger seats, and another such gate with one or two doors that fits near the tail gate. A diver in the middle would be the cat's meow..

I sent a note to dogsupplies.com describing the above and am waiting to hear back, if worthwhile, I'll post. But if you do have a parts number for the Subaru, I would love it if you could send.
